I have added a map which shows some of the roads around Montana. The state is very large so it takes time to travel around the state. There's some interstate but most roads are two lane with beautiful scenery especially in the Fall and Spring. Our State is beautiful and certainly gives a person a wide vaariety of scenery. For the most part we do experience the four seasons, This year our summer was very warm and hot. You need to be prepared especially if you are traveling in the winter because the weather can change in a few minutes without much warning. The wind does come up quickly which may cause certain roads to be closed. Hope you enjoy the changing scenes and sunsets In certain parts of the state you may observe the wild animals in their own habitat. Many people enjoy mountains for hunting and some of the rivers for fishing. There are small streams and creeks you can fish on or just enjoy the peacefulness of Montana, Here is an example of one special scene.: Gates of the Mountains which is on the road to Helena from Great Falls.
